This course aims to develop artistic and innovative practitioners, and also provides students with the professional and commercial awareness they will need in order to be successful in their chosen creative pursuit.

You will be taught by lecturers with extensive professional and creative experience who can support you in further developing your unique creative identity, and the research-based elements of the course have been designed to prepare students for postgraduate study.

You will also get the chance to continue to enhance your creative skills in artistic areas of interest such as painting, sculpture, printmaking, digital imagery, jewellery-making and more.

Marketing, Finance and Promotional Strategy Module

An important part of the CAPS BA Top Up centres around forward planning, so that the creative skills developed throughout the course can be used to generate employment and financial opportunities after graduation. 


For the Contemporary Art and Professional Studies, Marketing, Finance and Promotional Strategy Module, students examine and assess professional opportunities available to creative practitioners within the Creative Industries and then devise bespoke Business Plans that can be used to assist in gaining a foothold in the industry.
